Why are Some Kids are Thriving during Remote Learning? - Some children are thriving as a result of remote learning. Some parents are too. I think you can too.
When we homeschooled, I kept a daily schedule hanging at child's height on the wall. The schedule helped us organize our day and do all the things we loved doing. It reminded us what to do when. I could say:" It's 10 o'clock, what is next on the schedule?", and even the youngest could say what was next by the color coding and symbols on the schedule. Everyone feels better when they know what to expect and when it is happening. Predictability can be very comforting!
