The surprising thing is, just a little movement can change our
brain, body, and balance. For many of us, it is more fun to move
with others, so Tammy created Brain Body Balance to share
gentle rhythmic movements, breath awareness, with meditative consciousness that can make as big of a difference in your everyday life.
Tammy uses a unique blend of movements
from her experience as a music, classroom & community educator
- Brain Gym, Waldorf Education, and Folk Dance;
along with personal experiences in a life time of classes
- Alexander Technique, Brain Gym, Bal-A-Vis-X, and Dynamic Aging, Meditation, Realization Process, and Trauma Healing.
Brain Body Balance is gently active mostly in a standing position.
Many parts of class can be adapted to a sitting position.

How Brain Body Balance (BBB) came to be
Tammy has taught children, adults, and educators rhythmic movement & folk dance classes throughout her career.
When life changes paused her teaching of movement classes, Tammy noticed a significant change in her physical balance, confidence, and cognitive skills. She sought a combination of medical advice, PT, and movement classes, and soon began to experience a return of ease and calm in her body, balance, and thinking.
In her living room, Tammy began mixing new movements she was learning in her classes with movements that she had been teaching for years. She had fun, and felt so much better, in so many ways, that she began offering a movement class to her friends and music students. And thus, Brain Body Balance was born.
Brain Body Balance is a combination of pedagogies Tammy has combined
to provide you calm, gentle, rhythmic Brain Body Balance and Life!
